Genital warts may be small, flat, flesh-colored bumps or tiny, cauliflower-like bumps. In men, genital warts can grow on the penis, near the anus, or between the penis and the scrotum. In women, genital warts may grow on the vulva and perinea area, in the vagina and on the cervix. Genital warts vary in size and may even be so small that you can't see them. They can lead to cancer of the cervix in women or cancer of the penis in men.
Most patients with genital warts are seen between the ages of 17-33 years. Genital warts are highly contagious. You have a 60% risk of getting the infection in a single sexual contact with someone who has genital warts.
Genital warts do not usually hurt, but they can be itchy. The warts have varied appearances - from completely flat warts to rough cauliflower-like warts. They can appear on their own or in groups.
In males, genital warts often appear on the penis or underneath the foreskin. The warts can also be situated in the urethra, in most cases at the very end of it, and the area around the rectum.
In females, the virus can lead to changes in the cervix that may lead to cancer, so it's important that it is diagnosed and treated as soon as possible. Males infected with HPV can also be at risk for cancer of the penis and the anus.
Causes of Genital Warts
Like warts that appear on other areas of your skin, genital warts are caused by a virus a" HPV a" that infects the top layers of your skin. There are more than 100 different types of HPV, but only a few can cause genital warts. These strains of the virus are highly contagious and spread through sexual contact with an infected person. About two-thirds of people who have sexual contact with someone who has genital warts develop the condition a" usually within three months of contact, but in some cases not for years.
Signs of Genital Warts
If you are infected with a strain of HPV that causes genital warts, you may develop symptoms of genital warts anywhere from a few weeks to a few months after exposure. In some cases, though, the virus may lay dormant in your system for a few years before you develop any genital warts symptoms.
It is possible that symptoms of genital warts may be missed if the warts are located within the vaginal walls. Always seek immediate help if you start displaying any of the genital warts symptoms. In some cases genital warts symptoms may be considered as symptoms of other problems, such as a yeast infection.
Genital warts can be so flat that they become invisible to the naked eye, but they usually make themselves felt through an itchy and burning sensation. 'Invisible' genital warts can be detected by a doctor as described below.
Genital warts can be invisible to the human eye, or can multiply rapidly into larger clusters. They can have the appearance of small flat bumps, or cauliflower-like growths. Many people may carry the virus for long periods of time without knowing that they are infected - something that can be confirmed with medical testing.
In many cases genital warts do not cause any symptoms, but they are sometimes associated with itching, burning, or tenderness. They may result in localized irritation, depending upon their anatomic location. Women who have genital warts inside the vagina may experience bleeding following sexual intercourse or an abnormal vaginal discharge. Rarely, bleeding or urinary obstruction may occur if the wart involves the urethral opening.
Genital warts symptoms can lead to cancer in the cervix so it important to receive proper medical treatment.
In men genital wart symptoms can infect the urethra, penis, scrotum, and rectal area. Warts may appear as soft, raised masses with a surface that can be smooth on the (penile shaft), or rough with many finger like projections (anal warts). Other genital wart symptoms may appear pearly, and cauliflower shaped, some are rough with a darker surface.

2. The other type comes in US sizes G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N and P.
Again, this type also lights the entire shaft and hook but the main difference is that the entire shaft is the same diameter. These retail for $14.95.

They could have lowered an essentially weighted needle
with an expanding shaft (using explosives) into the well.
The shaft of the needle would be essentially a crimped
cone around the explosives and smaller than the inner
diameter of the well shaft. The weights attached to the
top of the needle would drive the needle into the well
as the entire assembly is being lowered by cable.
The explosives in the shaft of the needle would re-expand
the cone to plug the well shaft.
Or the needle could be tapered and driven into the well
shaft by explosives.
Perhaps a French company will do the job.

Bumps on Penis?
I havent had sex with a girl in about 6 months, and about three months ago some small white pimple like dots started to appear on the shaft of my penis. About 20 of them scattered. I kinda got worried, but for some reason started to think that maybe i had an std.. so i did some research and none of the pictures for sifilus, herpes, the penile things, or warts looked like what it was. So i just thought that it was acne, and would hopefully dissapear..
Its been about three months, and three red raised bumps have appeared at the base of my penis since then. Bigger than the 20 other small white bumps. They look like white heads, but i dont want to pop them cause that would hurt.. They have no pain, and dont itch… so if there is anyone out there who knows of a medication or some type of lotion to help with penis acne that would be awesome.
Unless its an std, then ill need to see a doctor, but i honestly think it isnt considering that they didnt all show up three months after sex…
might be Molluscum contagiosum. it is an STD and does appear as you described. it’s spread by skin to skin contact. the other thing it could be but doesn’t sould like it is bppp(benign pearly penil papuals) which is not an STD but doesn’t just come and go. they are pearly in color bumps that tend to show up and never really go away. treatments can be found at the link below. and for pictures just google molluscum contagiosum and hit images.
Small, white, unpoppable “pimples” on penis??!?
Well, I’ve had these for about a year now. They come and go, but lately they’ve been staying longer and getting bigger. They occur in clusters as well. They’re really white and small and I can’t pop them. But they are REALLY distinguishable. They don’t really come off the skin that much. I’ve looked at tons of pictures of things you can have on your penis. It doesn’t look like herpes or genital warts or anything serious. It sorta looks like Pearly Penile Papules…I’m not sure. But I’ve done a lot of research but still can’t find anything solid. This, rash, or outbreak, or whatever the hell it is, occurs right at the end of my shaft.
What do you think it is? They occur in clusters, they are white and small, yet easily distinguishable. They can’t be popped. and they occur on the inside of my foreskin. [I'm uncut]
That sounds really bad. Dude, why the heck did you do nothing for a year? Don’t you get health care? Go see a doctor about it.
Listen, it may not be serious at all. But let your doctor figure that out. As of now, you still don’t know exactly what this condition is. Your health isn’t worth gambling with.
Question about a wart, please help!….?
Hello, I am 24 years old and a little over 4 months ago I noticed a wart on the base of my penile shaft. It is very small and is not accompanied by any others. My questions are, when a wart develops here does that automatically mean you have herpes? Does this wart have the potential to spread? Could it be an early stage of genital warts?(i looked at pictures of genital warts and it looks nothing like that.) What other factors could have contributed to the development of a wart on my penis???
1) it can be wart but not genital herpes!
genital warts and genital herpes is different things and are caused by different viruses! HPV virus causes genital warts and HSV virus causes genital herpes!
2) anyway you must go to doctor to get checked!
3)HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. These warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It largely depends on the infected person’s immune system. A healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
Even after the warts go away, the person will always remain infected with HPV. That person can spread the virus even without showing symptoms.
Also, if you do have HPV, it is important to have an annual pap smear because your risk of developing cervical, anal, penile cancer is higher.
Little bumps on shaft of the penis?
OK, I have had these for a while. They are little bumps on the shaft of my penis. I know they aren’t Pearly Penile Papules, I compared with pictures. I am not sexually active and I am pretty sure these aren’t genital warts. It is hard to explain but they are just basically dozens of very small bumps. They do not bother me or cause pain at all, I just want to know what they are and how to get rid of them.
probably fordyces spots, normal
Mole like bumps on penis shaft….with no other symptoms!?
My boyfriend has flesh colored bumps on his penis that have developed over the past year. I have searched online for similar bumps & came across genital warts & molliscum contagiosum, there were some similar pictures but i am still not completely convinced. ( i did also check moles, skin tags, & pearly penile papules) He says there is no itching, burning, or pain. He wont get them checked because there are no other symptoms but come on…there are quite a few of them & there has to be a reason behind them. Though i am not completely convinced by my own research i am still worried. Any suggestions or other diagnoses????
1) he MUST go to doctor to get checked! or you should refuse to have sex with him!!!
2) 99% those are penis papulas!
